Biography
Maura Hoban is working towards her Master's Degree in History. She graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with her BA in History and English in 2025. She earned her honors degree in History for her undergraduate thesis studying Victorian women's fashion and how it began changing as women began working in the later half of the nineteenth century. During her undergraduate years at Boston College, she became a member of Phi Alpha Theta History Honors Society and earned the John L. Heineman Award in 2025. She currently works in public history, leading tours along the Freedom Trail and the Women's Heritage Trail in Boston, Massachusetts.

Hoban presented "Diana Mantuana: Achieving Antiquity and Intoning Invention," a comprehensive analysis of Italian Renaissance engraver Diana Mantuana's Spinario, at the 2024 SUNY New Paltz Undergraduate Art History Symposium.
