I am a coastal geomorphologist interested in how coupled terrestrial-marine surface processes drive landscape evolution in coastal environments. My research uses numerical modeling, remote sensing, data science, and field/lab work to investigate sandy beaches and volcanic ocean islands. My work at Boston College focuses on determining the conditions and mechanisms that form seaward-breaching outwash channels in sandy beach environments.
