My research focuses on using stable isotopes to better understand the biogeochemical cycle of modern and past oceans. More specifically, using the isotope N taken from coral to correlate the efficiency of the biological pump with data from interglacial time periods.

Why did you choose Boston College for your postgraduate work?

Boston College’s Earth and Environmental Science Department prides itself on providing graduates with the guidance and resources necessary to become responsible stewards of the Earth through the pursuit of rigorous scientific research. The small and inclusive community allows graduate students to not only learn, but to also help teach the next generation of EESC majors through Teaching Assistantships.
