Profile

I am interested in effects of land use change on lake and river biogeochemistry, and, more broadly, the geomorphology and Holocene climate of New England. Outside of academics, I love hiking, paddling, cooking, and singing David Bowie songs. I previously worked for an environmental nonprofit before coming to BC, and am still passionate about sharing my love of the outdoors with others.

Why did you choose Boston College for your postgraduate work?

The sense of community within the Department, the fantastic facilities, and the top-notch faculty made the decision to choose Boston College an easy one. It is an extremely encouraging environment, and the support I received from my advisor Noah Snyder, right from our first meeting, made it a clear choice. Not too mention it's a convenient ride on the Green Line to Fenway Park.
