Programs

We offer private lessons for adults of all skill levels. From the beginner who wants to learn the basics, to the more advanced participant who needs to work on technique or to refine their skills, our instructors can help.

This is a one-on-one private swimming lesson with one of our instructors. We recommend these lessons for teenagers that are at a more advanced level and adults at any level.  Lessons are 30 minutes (unless otherwise specified) in length and are purchased per session or in packs of five lessons based on instructor availability.

Lessons are available to active Campus Recreation members only.

U.S. Masters Swim Program

Our Masters Swim Program consists of a team of motivated swimmers who train under the instruction of our experienced coaches. The name might sound a bit intimidating, but ‘Masters’ simply refers to the adult age group (ages 18 and older): the program is open to all Boston College students, faculty and staff members, alumni, and members of the community.

Participants can join for the challenging workouts, to train for a triathlon, or simply to get in shape and have fun. Swimmers have the opportunity to compete in New England Masters Swim Meets, but it is not required.  Practices are offered in both the mornings and evenings, and are designed to get swimmers into great cardiovascular condition.

Patrons have been coming to the Boston College pool for over 30 years to recreate, swim laps, compete, and participate in our wide array of aquatic programs. From youth and adult swim lessons to Red Cross and water fitness classes, there is something for everyone.

The lifeguards are in charge of all operations on the deck. Please see them if you have a question or problem. Any patron who wishes to bring more than three guests in to use the pool (i.e. for a birthday party) should submit a space request form.

Please make sure to check out our pool rules before your first visit. There is a complete list of pool, diving well, and spa rules and regulations. The rules are designed to promote health, sanitation, and safety, as well as a pleasant and enjoyable experience for all of the pool users.
