Celebrating 50 years of Title IX

Thursday, June 23, 2022, marks the 50th anniversary of Title IX being signed into law. Title IX states, “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.” The Office for Institutional Diversity invites members of the Boston College community to learn more about the significance and importance of Title IX.
