The American Chemical Society Student Chapter of Boston College is an official undergraduate student chapter of the American Chemical Society. With more than 161,000 members, the ACS is the world’s largest scientific society and one of the world’s leading sources of authoritative scientific information. BCC holds Annual Spring Open House weekends for prospective graduate students admitted to Boston College who are residing in the United States. This is a good opportunity for admitted students to learn more about the cutting edge research being done at the Merkert Chemistry Center; to meet with faculty and current graduate students; to visit laboratory facilities; and to discover the rewards of graduate student life at Boston College. The Graduate Admissions Open Houses in the Chemistry Department will be held on March 23rd and 24th, 2018. Admitted students will be sent an e-mail with event details and travel arrangements. Travel arrangements and hotel reservations will be made by the department.
