Stay up-to-date with your vision exams without leaving campus. Since March 2017, 2020 On-site has been bringing its full-service optometry office on wheels to Boston College as part of the Healthy You program. Independent optometrists in state-of-the-art mobile vision centers provide comprehensive eye exams using the latest technology.

Important update about 20/20 Onsite eye exam services
If you have never been engaged with the Vision Van services, please disregard this message.
After years of bringing eye care to Boston College, 20/20 Onsite will be fully sunsetting their corporate vision health services on May 1, 2026. As they shift their full focus to clinical research and serving underserved patient communities, this chapter of their work is coming to a close — they have been grateful to have provided eye care to our community.
Already scheduled appointments for April 28 and 29th on the Chestnut Hill Campus will be the final appointments at Boston College. These appointments have already been booked and will be full service providing:
- Comprehensive eye exams
- Ability to order prescription glasses, sunglasses, or contact lenses
After May 1st, 20/20 Onsite will no longer be able to place new orders or update any prescriptions. If you have questions about an existing order or need a copy of your prescription after that date, you can still reach them at info@2020onsite.com.
We have been very fortunate to have been able to provide this convenient service for many years. Regrettably, at this time, we have not found an alternative service to take its place.

Top four things to know
You can use your BC insurance (HPHC)
One eye exam is covered every calendar year after a $25 copayment. Other insurances are accepted. Exams are available for $70 for those without exam coverage.
Please, no cash or checks
Only debit, credit, and FSA/HSA cards are accepted for exams, products, and relevant copays.
No disruption to your day
Exams without dilation are available for those who need to get quickly back to work. Exams must be booked in advance.
We're flexible:
Cancellations more than 24 hours before an appointment will never be charged. Cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment will result in a $50 cancellation fee.
