Thank you for your interest in the Pre-Health Program at Boston College. We have a long history of outstanding prehealth advising for students and alumni who are interested in attending health professions graduate school. Indeed, our alumni/ae have been accepted at and have attended a wide range (over 180) of both private and public health professions graduate schools across the United States.

The Pre-Health Program at Boston College is not a major; it is simply a program of study. It is also an “open program,” and therefore students do not need to maintain a certain cumulative average, nor do they have to complete the required courses within a pre-determined timeframe in order to remain “pre-health students.” Students are free to major in any discipline that interests them and, in fact, we encourage our students to take advantage of the many liberal arts opportunities available to them here at Boston College.
