Profile

Ataman Ozyildirim, Ph.D., is currently the Chief Economist at Economics and Revenue of the New York State Division of the Budget. He was formerly a senior director of economics at The Conference Board in New York. An established Ph.D. economist with global expertise, his research interests span Business Cycle Indicators, Global Economics, Applied Econometrics and Macro-econometrics, Forecasting Global Outlook, Forecast Evaluation, Time Series, International Economics, and Development Economics.

Dr. Ozyildirim has been a faculty member in the M.S. in Applied Economics program at Boston College-Woods College of Advancing Studies since 2017, with a strong commitment to providing a quality educational experience to students.

He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University and B.A. in Economics from Ithaca College.
