Profile

Sister Jeanne is a nationally recognized leader in theology, religious education, and positive youth development. She has extensive experience working with youth in inner city parishes in Boston and served for over 10 years as Mayor Thomas Menino’s Youth Advisor. Sister Jeanne also has significant experience within Higher and Secondary Education Institutions. Notably, she has served as Assistant to the President at Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts, and has taught courses at Stonehill College, Fairfield University, Sacred Heart University, the College of the Holy Cross, Merrimack College, and Boston College. At Merrimack College, Sister Jeanne grew the Living Learning Community of Austin Scholars from a one semester, one weekend of service program into a premier four year service learning program with weekly service and reflection as well as many, varied opportunities for undergraduates to build community. 

In August 2015, Liturgical Press published Sister’s book entitled A Holy yet Sinful Church: Three Twentieth-Century Moments in a Developing Theology.
