In 2007, the Brighton Dance Studio became the designated home for dance at Boston College. Converted from the gymnasium of the former St. John's Seminary on the Brighton campus, the studio is used for dance classes, rehearsals, and workshops.

The Theatre Department offers the following dance classes (open to all BC students):

  • Ballroom Dance: Mid 19th Century
  • Beginning Ballet I & II
  • Contemporary Dance
  • Dance for Musicals I & II
  • Elements of Dance (satisfies the Arts Core requirement)
  • Intermediate Ballet I & II
  • Jazz Dance I & II
  • Movement and Dance for Stage and Screen Performers
