Philosophy of the Person I and II
Phenomenology
Post-Structuralism
Social and Political Philosophy
I specialize in Continental Philosophy (especially phenomenology and post-structuralism) and Social and Political Philosophy. Additionally, I am competent in Chinese Philosophy, the History of Western Philosophy, and Ethics. I am currently working on a dissertation that explores Husserl's phenomenology of personhood and sociality. The project aims to develop an account of the co-constitution of social experience and personhood that can engage in productive dialogues with current trends in social philosophy, both analytic and continental.
Outside of strict academic work, I am committed to making philosophy accessible to the public. I am a co-founder of a Hong Kong-based organization focused on public philosophy called Corrupt the Youth (好青年荼毒室). I have also been a co-host of a weekly Cantonese TV program on Radio Television Hong Kong called Philosophy Night and have published articles in newspapers and magazines to reach a broader audience.
