Ken Galli

Departmental Lab Manager

Profile

In the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Boston College my time is spent on various aspects of teaching and research laboratory management, renovations and helping maintain our Department's SciShield chemical inventory and waste management system, as well as weekly inspections of safety aspects of our labs.

I am a Sedimentary Geologist who studies the sedimentary sequences of eastern Massachusetts and of western Colorado. My Master's research focused on glacial surficial geology of western New York. My doctoral dissertation work has been published as three scientific articles and one upcoming publication, that will be co-authored with my Master's student Michael Robbins. Richard Bailey (Professor Emeritus of Northeastern University) and I have about a half dozen articles we hope to publish soon!

Associate Editor: The Mountain Geologist (The Mountain Geologist is the quarterly peer-reviewed journal published by the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists (RMAG).
