Biography

Allan Thomas, MSN, CRNA, is a clinical instructor at the Connell School of Nursing. He completed his undergraduate degree at College Misericordia in 1985 and his graduate degree at Columbia University in 1989.

His foundation as a Registered Nurse combined with the privilege to be board certified as a Nurse Anesthetist for over thirty years has allowed him to provide nursing care to countless patients in need of anesthesia and pain management. Mr. Thomas has been active with the nurse anesthesia program at Boston College since its inception, primarily as a clinical preceptor. He has a particular interest in teaching and practicing obstetric anesthesia. Mr. Thomas is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, the Massachusetts Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and Sigma Theta Tau.
