From pre-departure planning to re-entry, the Office of International Programs supports students during every step of their study abroad journeys.
Join nearly half of Carroll School undergraduates in taking your education global through a range of study abroad opportunities. As part of our liberal arts approach to business education, we’re committed to producing well-rounded leaders who are culturally aware and versed in international issues.
Studying abroad allows you to immerse yourself in different cultures, discover aspects of your discipline and yourself, gain new perspective, and cultivate important contacts. Whether for the summer, semester, or entire year, Carroll School students have 60 programs to choose from—stretching across the globe in every region of the world.
Students who are interested in studying abroad should attend the Study Abroad Fair in early September of their sophomore year. Following the fair, students are able to make advising appointments with staff from the Office of International Programs to learn more about the programs available and the application process. After students have confirmed their study abroad program, they will need to receive approval from the Senior Associate Dean and begin to get courses approved. Students should consult the study abroad guidelines for their concentration for information specific to their area of study.
Details of the approval process in the "This Week in the Carroll School" newsletter.
