Entrance Exams

Health professions graduate schools will closely examine not only your science (BCPM) and overall cumulative averages, but your performance on objective entrance exams such as the MCAT, the DAT, and the GRE.

Studies have shown a positive correlation between performance on the SATs and MCATs/DATs, etc., so if you are a "poor test taker," we suggest you work on strategies to improve your performance on these types of exams. Once in health professions graduate school, students must take and pass "national boards" in order to become licensed, so it is important that you are able to perform adequately on objective exams.
