Pray It Forward

Prayer is powerful! We would like to invite our Boston College Alumni family and C21 Center community to Pray It Forward, a little time together each week during Lent to reflect and recharge.

Join us Wednesdays from 4:00-4:15pm ET on Zoom for a brief time-out to pray — reading the day's Gospel, listening to a brief reflection, offering prayer intentions, and sharing a group prayer relevant to the week. All are welcome!

A Sacred Journey | From Ireland to Boston

Experience the Stations of the Cross in a whole new way this Lent and Holy Week! The McMullen Museum's latest exhibit, Collaborating in Conflict: The Yeats Family and the Public Arts, includes the Stations of the Cross embroidered by Lily Yeats. Hear from Fr. Gregory Kalscheur, S.J. and Nancy Netzer about the story of how these unique Stations made their way to Boston College's McMullen Museum as well as their significance in Irish history. Afterward, explore and pray with the Stations through this beautiful intersection of faith and art.

Boston College Fish Fry-days

Starting Friday, February 20th, join friends from across the Boston College community for lunch and faith conversation every Friday of Lent. All are welcome! 

Phone-Free Fridays

~ Fridays, starting February 20 ~

This Lenten season, join others in making a personal pledge to find God's presence in the stillness each Friday and unplugging from your phone. This will be a personal journey with the support of a community.

Everyone who fills out this personal pledge will receive a box to place one's phone inside. This offers a physical reminder of our promise to go phone-free on Fridays. 

Lenten Mass & Mingle

This Lent, young adults (ages 21–39) are invited to join others for a special Mass & Mingle on the theme of Lent. Begin with Mass at St. Ignatius Parish at 5pm, followed by a social with dinner, drinks, and faith conversation on the Lenten season. All are welcome!

Faith Feeds

You're invited to join us for one or more of our Faith Feeds conversations during Lent on Zoom on select Fridays from 1:00–2:00pm ET. 
The Faith Feeds program is designed for individuals who are hungry for opportunities to talk about their faith with others who share it. A host will facilitate a small group conversation on a theme using articles from the C21 Center's bi-annual magazine, C21 Resources.

Growing God for Lent

Experience Lent with your whole famiily and/or class! Growing God encourages children to see God's loving presence "in all things," and most especially in the natural world around us. Join the main character, Emma, as she learns patience and trust from her nana, and how we might bring that same patience and trust into Lent!
