Engineering a better world

In the face of global challenges, the Boston College engineering program asks students to consider the question: how can we use science and technology to make the world a better place?

Through Human-Centered Engineering.

Grounded in the liberal arts, our program combines the foundations of engineering with project-based learning and service-focused experiences to empower a new generation of engineers with the tools and knowledge to make a difference.

The launch of an undergraduate Engineering degree promises to position Boston College and our graduates to help lead the way on ethical, human-centered explorations of the possibilities and perils of technology in the 21st century.
