Profile

Sebastian Steffen is an assistant professor in the Business Analytics Department at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. He is also a digital fellow at the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy and the Stanford Digital Economy Lab. His research interests include information technology, technological change, and the future of work and human capital. 

Professor Steffen grew up in Greifswald, Germany, and obtained his PhD in management from the MIT Sloan School of Management and his BA in economics from Princeton University.
