The Department of Political Science at Boston College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position, beginning September 2017. We are looking for someone who combines a broad interest in American politics with special interest in the politics of regulation. We are interested in applicants who study any form of government regulation. Applicants should have a solid background in the study of American political institutions and policymaking, and be able to teach at least one course on the politics of environmental regulation. Applicants should have completed the Ph.D. or be very near to finishing. Rank will be Assistant Professor or Instructor, depending upon degree status.
