Biography

Julie-Anne manages the daily operations for the Theatre Department, as well as all digital marketing and promotional materials for the six-production Season. She co-plans and manages all Department events including lectures, workshops, and receptions, and she maintains the Department budget.

In addition to her role at BC, Julie-Anne currently serves as a Programming & Events Ambassador for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Boston. Previous professional credits include Assistant Front-of-House Manager at the Lyric Stage Company of Boston, Marketing & Communications Manager at Boston Lyric Opera, Assistant Box Office Manager at ArtsEmerson, and Assistant to the Executive Director of the Capitol Center for the Arts (NH).

Her performance background includes two years of training in the Meisner technique with Another Country Productions, a six-month educational theater tour of New England with Children’s Stage Adventures, and summer repertory performances with New Hampshire’s largest professional Shakespeare companies, Advice to the Players and Shakespeare in the Valley.

Julie-Anne holds a BA in Theatre Arts (Acting) with minors in Creative Writing and American Literature from Plymouth State University. She has written two adaptations for the stage from the works of literary giant, Virginia Woolf.
