Become a Community Partner

Each year, the PULSE Program looks to create new partnerships and add new community partners to our program. This process begins in late spring/early summer. We look to offer a diversity of placement options for students in our program. A few requirements we look for in community partners are:

  • 8 hours of on-site service available for students, most of which needs to be in direct contact with the population served;
  • Regular supervision for students during their time at the placement (supervisors are required to grade PULSE students);
  • Accessibility by public transportation (subway and bus lines).
