Welcome
The Boston College Language Laboratory serves the language learning and teaching needs of the University's language departments, students of English as a foreign language, and the BC community at large from its center in Lyons Hall, room 313. The facility provides access to installed and portable equipment to be used with audio, video, cable television and multimedia language learning tools.
Our Mission
We are committed to promoting and facilitating the acquisition and enhancement of language skills and cultural competency by providing the University community efficient access to an expanding collection of multimedia resources and instructional technology.

Online Audio Programs
Use of online audio programs is restricted to Boston College students officially enrolled in Boston College courses in which these programs have been adopted as curricular material. Online audio programs may be accessed via the Canvas – authenticated learning management system 24 hours/day, 7 days/week from any computer connected to the Boston College Network.
