Instrument and accessory rentals
Boston College Bands has a limited number of instruments available to loan to current Boston College Bands ensemble members free of charge. All instrument loan requests must be processed by the BC Bands Office via the BC Bands Instrument and Accessory Request Form. All requests will be filled the following business day. No day of requests will be granted.
Instrument repair
The Boston College Bands Program is responsible for regular maintenance to and repair of University-owned instruments. Students may be held accountable, however, for damage to instruments found to have been caused by neglect.
To request an instrument repair, complete the Instrument Repair Form.
Once complete, the instrument should be brought to the Bands Office between 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The instrument must be reviewed by and left with a BC Bands Office staff member and should never be left in the office without first being reviewed by a staff member.
Please note that at this time, the Boston College Bands Program does not accept personal instrument repairs.
