The Volunteer & Service Learning Center (VSLC) supports students who seek opportunities to serve others. We communicate volunteer needs in the Boston area, offers advisement and resources for service initiatives, provide educational opportunities, and collaborate with other university departments in engaging students in service.

History

The VSLC began in 2003, and through a generous gift of Patrick and Lillian Carney, the Welles R. Crowther '99 Directorship of Volunteer & Service Learning was established to support our work.

We are proud to be associated with the legacy of Welles, a legacy of service and personal sacrifice on behalf of others.
