Japanese Language Contest 2017

The 7th annual Japanese Language Contest, sponsored by the Consulate General of Japan, Boston, was held on April 8, 2017.  In total, more than 100 essays were submitted. Three BC students won awards this year. Congratulations to our award winners: Michelle Lin (3rd Place, Advance Speech), Hui Wang (3rd Place, Intermediate Essay) and Zhangqi Liu (Honorable Mention, Intermediate Speech).

In 2016 five BC students won awards this year at the annual Japanese Language Contest sponsored by the Consulate General of Japan, Boston for New England’s prestigious colleges. This year BC students’ achievement at the contest was even better. There were submissions from various New England Colleges, such as Brandeis, Brown, Bowdoin, Harvard, Mount Holyoke, Middlebury, Northeastern, Smith, and UMass Amherst.

In 2015 BC students won four awards in the annual contest.
