WES-CIHE Summer Institute
The WES-CIHE Summer Institute, aimed at graduate students and other young professionals, is organized in conjunction with World Education Services in New York
Hosted by the Boston College Center for International Higher Education (CIHE) and World Education Services (WES), the WES-CIHE Summer Institute provides a forum for students, scholars, and practitioners to explore new ways of moving change agendas forward in a variety of contexts.
Philip G. Altbach Lecture Series
In June 2023, as part of the CIHE Biennual conference, we kicked off a lecture series celebrating the influential legacy of our Founding Director Philip G Altbach, Ph.D., celebrating his work on international and comparative higher education, and his unwavering dedication to fostering networks and forging connections across borders and disciplines. The inaugural lecture was held on June 9th with Simon Marginson, Ph.D. as speaker. The Altbach Lecture will be an annual event, with the new lecture scheduled for Spring 2024.
