Global Perspectives on Higher Education

Series edited by Philip G. Altbach, Hans de Wit, Rebecca Schendel and Gerardo Blanco

Since 2005, the Center for International Higher Education has edited a book series, entitled Global Perspectives on Higher Education, published by Brill. Higher Education worldwide is in a period of transition, affected by globalization, the advent of mass access, changing relationships between the university and the state, and new technologies, among others. Global Perspectives on Higher Education provides cogent analysis and comparative perspectives on these and other central issues affecting postsecondary education worldwide.

CIHE accepts proposals from prospective authors interested in publishing in the Global Perspectives on Higher Education book series. In order to be considered, the proposed volume must relate to the overarching theme of the series (see the Aims & Scope on the home page) and should usually include a diversity of perspectives on the topic in question. Prospective authors should download Brill’s Manuscript Questionnaire, complete it, and return to John Bennett (John.Bennett@brill.com) along with any supporting materials.
