Sevgi Kaya-Kasikci (Hans de Wit Fellow)
Sevgi Kaya-Kasikci joins CIHE in March 2023 as our inaugural Hans de Wit Fellow! Sevgi earned her Ph.D. in Educational Administration at the Middle East Technical University (Türkiye). Along with colleagues at the Middle East Technical University, Sevgi has worked on research projects focused on various issues in higher education, including the higher education experiences of refugee students, internationalization of higher education, and online assessment in higher education. Her research interests include educational policy, equity, and social justice in higher education, social justice leadership in higher education, and the internationalization of higher education.
Yizhen Zhang
Yizhen Zhang is an Associate Professor in the College of Education, Hebei University (China). Her research interests include the history of higher education, models of student funding, liberal arts traditions, citizenship education and undergraduate teaching.
