Lunch with a Leader
The Winston Center offers opportunities for students to meet with leaders in close quarters for lunch and informal conversation several times each year. An effort is made to invite student participants who have a demonstrated interest that is related to the leader’s area of expertise.

Richard A.C. Coles is a Managing Principal at the Vanbarton Group. Mr. Coles plays a key role in developing the firm's investment strategy, as well as sourcing acquisition opportunities in both credit and equity and overseeing the firm's asset management and value enhancing strategies. He is a member of Vanbarton Group's Management Committee, Investment Committee, Portfolio Strategy and Valuations Committee and the Investment Strategy Committee.
Prior to attending business school, Mr. Coles worked as an Asset Manager and a Development Director for the Enterprise Development Company, overseeing numerous development and leasing projects for retail, urban specialty and office assets. Mr. Coles is a National Trustee of The Enterprise Foundation, the nation's leading non-profit provider of affordable housing. In addition, he is a Trustee of The Nature Conservancy. Mr. Coles is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) as well as the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA).
Mr. Coles earned a BA from Boston College and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
