

Professor of Accounting Jeffrey Cohen won the Outstanding Auditing Educator Award from the American Accounting Association’s Auditing Section at their Midyear Meeting in Florida in January.
Assistant Professor of Operations Management Tingliang Huang’s 2013 paper “Bounded Rationality in Service Systems” (with Gad Allon and Achel Bassamboo), published in Manufacturing & Service Operations Management (MSOM), was selected as a finalist in the 2016 MSOM Service Management SIG Best Paper Competition.
The INFORMS Information Systems Society awarded Assistant Professor of Information Systems Zhouxin (Allen) Li its 2016 Nunamaker-Chen Dissertation Award.
Associate Professor of Information Systems Sam Ransbotham was appointed guest editor for a new initiative at MIT Sloan Management Review that focuses on artificial intelligence and business strategy. He was also named an Affiliate at Princeton University’s Center for Information Technology Policy.
PanAgora Asset Management awarded Ronnie Sadka, professor and chairperson of finance, the 2016 Crowell Second Prize for his paper “Real-time Corporate Sales and Its Effects on Earnings Management, Surprises, and Drifts” (with Namho Kang, Kenneth Froot, and Gideon Ozik).
Professor and Joseph L. Sweeney Chair in Accounting G. Peter Wilson won the 2016 AAA/J. Michael and Mary Anne Cook/Deloitte Foundation Prize Graduate Award from the American Accounting Association for consistently demonstrating “the attributes of a superior teacher in the discipline of accounting.”
