Leslie Shaff

Leslie Shaff has led a wide-ranging career in the areas of law, medicine, business, and education. After earning her master’s degree in teaching from Harvard University, she taught high school and junior college science for several years. During this time, she developed an interest in medicine and decided to earn an M.D. at UMass Medical School. After graduating, Shaff served as an associate anesthetist and assistant professor in anesthesia at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. After working as a doctor for many years, she obtained her M.B.A. from the Wharton School and became a chief surgical services officer at Lahey Clinic. Most recently, Shaff earned a J.D. from Boston College Law School to complement her medical and business backgrounds. She has served as an adjunct professor at BC Law since 2019 and teaches in the areas of healthcare law and compliance.
