The Summer Welcome Center is located in Stayer Hall, where main check-ins will happen for all Summer housing and conferences. The Welcome Center Staff can help many of your needs, including local-area information such as how to find the nearest shopping centers, restaurants, and tourist attractions.

Although the Welcome Center is open during nighttime hours throughout most of the Summer, we ask that you please bring all administrative questions to the attention of Professional Staff during normal business hours, 9am-5pm.

The Boston College Event Management Department handles all arrangements for external groups who visit campus during the Summer time. 

The Event Management Department website has detailed information on all aspects of planning your stay at Boston College from accommodation to catering options. Please review their website to plan your stay at Boston College. If you require special needs housing, please get in contact with the Disabilities Services Office.

The Residential Life Summer Operations hires for over 100 full-time and part-time employment opportunities at Boston College over the summer. We have 12 different positions with the job descriptions available below. All applications are due by March 6, 2020 and will require a cover letter and a resume for submission.

  • Positions range from full-time day responsibilities to mostly night responsibilities.
  • Some positions may require working select nights and weekends.
  • Most position contracts run from May 15-August 18, 2019. Employees will be expected to work the entirety of their contract.
  • All positions included a minimum compensation of free housing at Boston College for the contract period.

Summer Student Staff will be expected to be available to work the following times during the summer:

  • Commencement (graduating students excused)
  • BC Reunion Weekend
  • Summer Session I and II Transition Days
  • Summer Session II Move-Out
