Mile 21 Headline Concert Featuring Jason Derulo | 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. | Concert gates open at 9:45 a.m.
Location: Mod Parking Lot
Jason Derulo tickets are still available through the Robsham Theater box office. As long as there is capacity, the online box office will remain open until the show begins. You will need your online ticket and your Boston College ID to enter the concert. There will be no bags, water bottles or alcohol permitted into the Mod Lot concert area and students will be subject to search.
Mile 21 Cheering Section | 11:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Location: St. Ignatius Lawn
After the concert, students are encouraged to go to the Mile 21 Cheering Section next to St. Ignatius Church along Commonwealth Avenue to cheer on the runners, especially the 20-plus members of the BC community who are running this year. UGBC will be handing out free bucket hats, fanny packs and noisemakers.
Food Trucks and Field Day | 12:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m.
Location: Maloney Lawn
The Division of Student Affairs and Department of Athletics are teaming up to bring you a Field Day with free food from several food trucks. The Field Day on Maloney Lawn will consist of lawn games, DJ music and adirondack chairs. The Food Trucks will be featuring free food for the first 500-600 servings per truck beginning after the concert. Food will be available for purchase with cash or credit card after the free servings have been claimed.
Red Sox Game: A game ticket for the Boston Red Sox versus the Minnesota Twins and bus transportation will be $5 and buses will leave campus at 10:30am for the 11:00am start.
Shuttle for Newton Students
BC will be providing shuttle transportation for students on Newton Campus to get to Main Campus on Marathon Monday. Commonwealth Avenue closes at 8:00am so we will be running shuttles at 7:15am and 7:30am in order to guarantee you get to campus before Commonwealth Avenue closes. The Newton-Main Campus shuttle will run several times after 8:00am; however, due to the road closure, students should expect a ride of 45-60 minutes to get to campus. Therefore, your best bet for a quick and easy ride to campus is to take one of the early shuttles.
