Welcome Class of 2030!
Our first Week of Welcome aims to connect you to some of the people, offices, and opportunities on campus and familiarize you with campus before you begin classes on Monday, August 31. We are planning a number of exciting events for you, including a University Welcome, small group reflection time, the Class of 2030 photo, trips into Boston, and much more!
- First-year move-in will be held August 27. Additional information from Residential Life will be available in the coming weeks.

Welcome to Boston College!
We have an exciting few days (and weeks!) planned which are designed to assist your transition to college life and connect you with many of the opportunities, offices, and people on campus. We invite you to take advantage of as many of these activities as you can. Please note that some of the events are mandatory for all first-year students and our DiscoverBoston event requires preregistration.
All incoming first year students are also asked to completed a series of mandatory online learning modules prior to arriving on campus. See below for details.

Required Modules: As part of your transition to Boston College, you are required to take the following mandatory online video modules. View communication and login to modules.
Download the free Weeks of Welcome app on your iPhone/Android to stay up to date on the schedule and activities planned for you the first few days on campus. (Please note that pre-registration is required for some events.) In the app you will also find information on move-in day, technology assistance, language placement tests, and maps to help you navigate campus.
Log in to the MyBC platform, which will connect you with events, organizations, and great information about student engagement at BC. You log in using your BC credentials (BC short username email, and password).
Download the free CORQ app on your iPhone/Android, which connects to the event calendar from MyBC and makes accessing information easier than ever. Additionally, your event pass QR code is located on CORQ when you log in using your BC username and password. This QR code will be used to scan your attendance at Weeks of Welcome and other campus events over the next four years. Click here for step-by- step directions.
