Our Signature Events
Welles Remy Crowther Red Bandanna 5K Run
In one of the University's proudest traditions, the BC community comes together each year for the Volunteer & Service Learning Center's Red Bandanna Run, held to honor 9/11 hero Welles Remy Crowther '99.
Student Organization Volunteer Fair
Every year, during the second week of school, the VSLC invites BC students to attend a fair to explore the various BC-run service organizations. Meet student leaders, ask questions, and find the service organization that's right for you.
Post Grad Service Fair
Take advantage of this chance to speak to over 50 organizations with full-time volunteer opportunities both domestic and abroad. Explore your passions, learn new skills, build community, and make a difference for and with others.
Relay For Life for Boston College
Relay For Life is an opportunity to honor survivors, remember those who we have lost, and fight back against a disease that has taken too much. Since 2008, Relay For Life of Boston College has raised over $2 million for a cure.
Post Grad Service Reception
At the end of every year, the VSLC welcomes faculty, staff, and friends of seniors who have chosen a year or more of full-time service upon graduation to get together to acknowledge them and honor their commitment.
Speakers, panels, workshops
The Volunteer & Service Learning Center's programming offers a rotating variety of speakers, panels, presentations, and workshops throughout the year. Check our events calendar for more information or contact a staff member for more details.
