The Volunteer & Service Learning Center serves as a central advising hub for the University community. We help students discover ways they can offer themselves in service to others, both during their time on the Heights and after graduation. We also advise faculty on the development of community-based learning opportunities, and help students and department staff with funding and travel-related issues.

Collaborations and Partnerships
Rebuilding Together Boston
Each semester, a team of BC students participate in a rebuild project in Boston, coordinated through Rebuilding Together Boston. Throughout the school year, the team will plan events and fundraise for these projects. BC-RTB is a great way to get involved raising money and serving the community with a goal of changing lives, one rebuild at a time.
Prison Arts Outreach
Prison Arts Outreach engages student volunteers in the teaching of art workshops at a women’s prison in Framingham, MA. No previous art experience is required.
English as a Second Language program
This is an on-campus, weekly volunteer opportunity that matches BC students with BC employees who are English language learners. Partners work together on language skills.
