Prof. Ranger presented at the 2025 IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Conference (EMBC), which was held in Copenhagen, Denmark. He presented a paper from our group entitled, "Improving ultrasound image segmentation in data-scarce scenarios using self-supervised learning with phantom data pre-training" as part of a session called, "Image Segmentation Techniques: Deep/Machine Learning for Feature Extraction." The first author of this paper was Bo Jiang, a senior undergraduate in our research group. Hayoung Cho, Keshi He, and Prof. Michael Naughton (Department of Physics, Boston College) were co-authors.
