Éilís Ní Dhuibhne Virtual Book Launch

In lieu of a traditional public lecture and reception for Fall 2020 Burns Visiting Scholar in Irish Studies, Éilís Ní Dhuibhne, we hosted a virtual launch of her latest collection of short stories over YouTube Live on October 28. The event was broadcast from the Burns Library Thompson Room before a small, socially distanced “studio audience” consisting of a dozen BC students and faculty, with 117 viewers joining online—half of them from Ireland.
