Boston College Libraries are delighted to announce that the print content from The Séamus Connolly Collection of Irish Music, produced online in 2016, is now available as a freely downloadable e-book. A production team at Burns Library has compiled the content for all 338 tunes and songs in a layout that will be especially useful to musicians and teachers. The music notation and story for each tune appear together on the same page, followed by audio playlist and track information. Anyone wishing to follow Connolly’s narrative through ten audio consecutive playlists will enjoy this new version, which also includes the original essays and two new tune indexes. The entire collection, selected sections, or individual tunes and songs can be easily printed from the new e-book. A download link for the e-book has been added to the Connolly Collection website at connollymusiccollection.bc.edu.
