Q: Why was a redesign needed?
A: It has been more than a decade since the Boston College Law School website was redesigned. Technology and our site vistors expectations have changed since then. The old site had significant deficiencies in design, layout and was unresponsive to mobile devices. The launch of this site is another step to bring Boston College more in line with other top tier institutions.

A: For the past year, members of the BC Law community have worked with the BC.EDU Web Team, which represent people from the offices of Information Technology Services, News & Public Affairs and Marketing Communications. Q: What are BC.EDU Links?
A: Similar to the navigation the new BC.EDU pages, BC.EDU links will help you quickly navigate the site to find useful information like hours, menus, Agora Portal, news and events. Tremendous effort was taken to learn user behavior on the entire Boston College website. Through analytics, focus groups and user testing, the project team pinpointed the most used sites. Access to BC.EDU Links can me found on every page of the new site in the upper right corner.
Q: Where can I find Agora Portal?
A: Agora Portal can be found on the 'BC.EDU Links' menu on the upper right corner of every BC Law page. The log-in is a simple design.
Q: Where is the A-Z Listing and the University directory?
A: On the upper right hand corner of the desktop is 'search' button with a magnifying glass. Links to both A-Z and the directory can be found in that panel.
