Chris Morrison has over 20 years of experience in handling complex litigation and intellectual property matters for a diverse range of clients. He specializes in product liability, class action, patent infringement, and trade secret cases, often involving scientific or technical issues that require clear and persuasive communication to judges and juries.
Morrison holds three degrees from Boston College, and successfully represented prominent organizations like the Boston Red Sox, The Boston Globe, Celgene, Duracell, and Vibram, achieving favorable outcomes in trials, appeals, and settlements. He has argued before the First Circuit, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, and the Massachusetts Appeals Court. He is the hiring partner in Jones Day's Boston office, where he oversees the recruitment and development of talented lawyers. He was appointed to the Mental Health Legal Advisors Committee by the Supreme Judicial Court and to the Board of Trustees at MassBay Community College by Governor Romney. He served as a School Committee member of 15 years and was a member of the Boston Bar Foundation’s Grants Committee for seven years.
