Big Law, Big Business

Many BC Law students carve out careers at big law firms: More than a third of our 2017 graduates practice at firms with 100+ attorneys, and over 1,570 alumni practice across the AmLaw 200 and NLJ 500 firms (ALM Legal Intelligence).

Through our curriculum, our students master the high-level research and writing skills needed to thrive at law firms and as in-house counsel. They also develop skills in oral argumentation, negotiation, mediation, and transactional and litigation drafting.

Clinics, internships, Semester-in-Practice and our unique tethered externship programs complement coursework with practical experiences in Boston, across the country, and around the globe—allowing students to navigate some of today’s most compelling issues, including emerging technologies, intellectual property, and international economies—while gaining valuable insights and skills crucial to career success.
