Orientation activities, typically held at the end of August, are meant to help you meet your fellow classmates, learn about the resources, programs, and support staff available to you, and begin to gain substantive experience about what it means to study and practice law. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, that process will look quite different this year. Over the course of the summer, we will be mixing in a number of live and pre-recorded virtual events, online learning modules and "get to know each other" virtual sessions. Our goal is to provide you with everything you need, while ensuring the health and safety of our community and adhering to Massachusetts state guidelines.
We will be adding to this website frequently. Please check back and monitor your email for updates.

Meet Academic & Student Services
Thursday, July 30 | 3:00 pm
Attention, incoming BC Law students! Our Academic & Student Services team is eager to meet you and talk about the resources we offer law students and the opportunities to get involved in campus life. They will also plan to answer your general questions about the fall semester and walk you through some housekeeping items to get started.
Evening Chat with Rising 2Ls
Members of our rising second-year class held an informal discussion about law school and the BC Law community. "Evening Chat" uncovers some of the myths about law school including student perspectives on how things work, first-year classes, managing the reading load, and how to balance academic passions with extra-curricular interests.
This partnership between BC Law and Harvard provides incoming students a robust introductory online course to get you ready for the fall. Start here with a video from the Dean and Professor Mary Bilder; the formal invite and login instructions for the platform were emailed to all students from the Harvard Canvas system.
Due to the campus shutdown, we are scheduling virtual sessions with incoming students. Please choose an option below to book a call with a law school professional or contact a BC Law department. For general university related questions, such as your student ID, student loans and loan deferments, or parking permits, contact University Student Services.
