Team leadership (90 minutes live, online)
- Short follow up on any reflections based on discussions last meeting
- Example tips and tricks that highlight team leadership in action
- Virtual-friendly activity that helps leaders explore team leadership
- Whole group discussion using prompts from chapters 4-13
Department leadership (90 minutes live, online)
- Short follow up on any reflections based on discussions last meeting

- Whole group discussion using prompts from chapters 14-19
Patient leadership (90 minutes live, online)

Ama Mathewos

Ama is a Board Certified Advanced Nurse Executive and Certified Coach with 20 years of industry experience, leading clinical operations, systemwide strategy and quality improvement work. She is one of five editors of Laudio’s book, Leader Inspired Work as well as the CEO of Evolve Lead Succeed which helps organizations equip their leaders to grow capabilities that achieve and sustain desired business outcomes.
Joel Ray
MSN, RN, NEA-BC, Colonel, (Ret.) USAF, NC, Chief Clinical, Advisor, Laudio
Joel is the Chief Clinical Advisor at Laudio, where he brings a CNO perspective to a wide range of cross-functional initiatives and is a key contributor to Laudio Insights. Joel has 42 years of experience in healthcare and over 23 years in executive leadership roles, including Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Previously the Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at UNC Rex Healthcare under his guidance, the hospital obtained its 4th Magnet designation, CMS 5 Star, and Leapfrog A ratings. He served 26 years in the U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps, retiring with the rank of Colonel.
Greta Rosler
MSN, RN, NEA-BC,CPXP CEO and Principal of Radius Leaders, Editor, Leader Inspired Work
Greta Rosler is an experienced nurse leader with a background in frontline nursing leadership, patient experience leadership, and nurse leader professional development. In addition to being one of the five editors of Laudio’s book, Leader Inspired Work, she is the CEO and Principal of Radius Leaders, a nurse leader development partnership company she founded in 2017. Through this work, Greta supports senior nurse leaders by building tangible competencies with frontline leadership teams. Her professional passion is cultivating nurse leaders’ authentic leadership skills and adoption of evidence-based best practices, such as nurse leader rounds.

Matt Quin
MS, BSN, RN Executive healthcare leader, consultant, and strategist
Matt is an executive healthcare leader, consultant, and strategist with over 20 years in senior administrative and clinical healthcare leadership roles, leading organizational change, strategic planning, and driving service growth and operational efficiency. Matt served in various leadership and board positions, including President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Nursing Officer at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI, where he became an America’s Essential Hospital Fellow and member of several boards including the Hospital Association of Rhode Island (HARI). Prior to this, Matt served in various nursing leadership roles at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, MA.
Diane Villavicencio
DNP, RN, NPD-BC, Manager Clinical, Education & Professional Development
Diane Villavicencio is Manager of Clinical Education and Professional Development at UCHealth – University of Colorado Health. She ensures alignment with department and organizational objectives and is accountable for managing program planning, development, implementation and evaluation with interdisciplinary teams to assure delivery of competent, quality nursing practice and patient safety. Additionally, Dr. Villavicencio is part-time online adjunct Nursing faculty at Pikes Peak State College in the RN to BSN Program. She spent 20 years in the Emergency Department (ED) setting serving in various roles and became a clinical manager of a large ED in 2012 and has served in nursing leadership roles since that time.
