Jeannine Kremer, Director, leads the Center for Student Wellness which provides a space dedicated to students’ well-being, and strives to embed wellness in all aspects of the student experience by working in partnership with students, faculty, and staff to foster a culture of wellness.
Judy Oxford, MA, LMHC
Judy Oxford, Associate Director, oversees the substance misuse prevention education and recovery services within the Center for Student Wellness. Students can access a range of support around alcohol and other substances as well as recovery services to develop strategies for making lower-risk choices and fostering a healthier relationship around substance use at Boston College.
Virginia Mahoney, MSW, LCSW
Assistant Director of Health and Wellness
Viriginia aims to enhance student awareness and education about wellness-focused behaviors and activities. Virginia oversees the management and direction of the Institute for Wellness Coaching (IWC) and works to infuse health and wellness across the University through consultation and campus-wide events.
Cassidy Gallegos, M.A.
Cassidy Gallegos, Assistant Director, oversees our mental health and wellness division. A passionate advocate and educator with a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling, Cassidy is creating and implementing our comprehensive approach to mental health promotion and suicide prevention on campus through the installment of trainings, workshops, and mental health awareness events
Our Wellness Coach team is comprised of undergraduate student volunteers who are committed to creating a healthier BC. Our Institute for Wellness Coaching currently has 27 active peer Wellness Coaches who specialize in facilitating holistic health and wellness coaching conversations focused on our 12 domains of health.
