Program Details

The Bridge Scholars Program at Boston College is an opportunity for undergraduates who are majoring or minoring across schools, combining a concentration or minor in the Carroll School of Management with majors or minors in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences, the Lynch School of Education and Human Development, or the Connell School of Nursing.

Sophomore Year Process
  1. Students will attend an introductory dinner and then choose a specified number of other talks and events, which will be tracked online.
  2. Students will also be asked to reflect on the events that they attend in a Bridge notebook.

Students who complete these tasks will be invited to join the Bridge Scholars Program at the end of the sophomore year.

Junior Year Course
All Bridge Scholars will need to take a required course during junior year (or at another time for students who study abroad all year).

Sections of this course will be offered in both fall and spring (after the 2027 academic year).

This course will focus on developing the wisdom and habits of mind needed to successfully navigate technological and social disruptions by learning how to integrate the humanities, management and sciences.
Senior Year Project or Capstone
Bridge Medal & Official Recognition

Bridge Scholars will choose to take either a senior capstone seminar or a project-based senior course.

Bridge Scholars will receive a medal to wear at graduation, their status as a Bridge Scholar will be noted on their transcripts, and there will be a reception during commencement weekend for Bridge Scholars and their families.
