Become a Bridge Scholar
For the 2026-27 academic year, this program is limited to Sophomores and Juniors
Class of 2028
For the 2026-27 academic year, we will be able to admit 85 juniors to the program.
Junior Year
To qualify for the Bridge Scholars Program:
- Attend Bridge dinner on October 7, 2026.
Register for The Bridge Dinner
- Attend two other Fall Boston College events chosen from a list.
- Complete Reflective Exercises
- Register for Spring Seminar on November 13th 2026
Senior Year
- Bridge Scholars will choose to take either a senior capstone seminar or a project-based senior course.
- Recognition at Graduation:
Bridge Scholars will receive a medal to wear at graduation, their status as a Bridge Scholar will be noted on their transcripts, and there will be a reception during commencement weekend for Bridge Scholars and their families.
Class of 2029
Sophomore Year
To qualify for the Bridge Scholars Program:
- Sign up to attend a Bridge Dinner on November 17, 2026, March 3, 2027, or April 6, 2027 (link to registration)
- Attend four additional designated Bridge Events (link to list)
- Complete reflective exercises for each dinner and event.
- Register for Junior Year seminars in April (for fall courses) or November (for spring courses).
Junior Year
- All Bridge Scholars will need to take a required course during junior year (or at another time for students who study abroad all year).
- Sections of this course will be offered in both fall and spring (after the 2027 academic year).
- This course will focus on developing the wisdom and habits of mind needed to successfully navigate technological and social disruptions by learning how to integrate the humanities, management and sciences.
Senior Year
- Bridge Scholars will choose to take either a senior capstone seminar or a project-based senior course.
