boston college career center

What did you envision for yourself when you entered Boston College, and is that the same now? Often times that original vision starts evolving into something new—and that’s ok. Or maybe you haven’t made a connection with a specific path yet—and that’s ok too.

Envision is an opportunity to reflect on your time as a college student and how your experiences relate to your future career. This daylong experience features interactive group discussions and exercises led by student peer leaders to help you clarify your goals and remove barriers to action.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Envision will be most helpful for first and second year students who are either unsure of their academic/career interests or who are questioning the fit of their chosen major or track. It is an opportunity to think outside the box about your interests and values, and develop next steps for career exploration.

Most of the activities at Envision focus on the “big picture” rather than discuss specific major requirements. If you have a good sense of what you’re interested in, but need help choosing classes, we recommend you visit the Academic Advising Center.
